Always get dreams when you go back to sleep after being up for a little bit. random-est stuff too.
I just want to come over and tell you that I got a 120 dollar jacket today for 45 bucks, so I can challenge you to a “who has a crazier family”-off (I learned some ridiculous-ness today), so I can tell you how my eyes shine like they do when I’m happy because of you, and how when you say jez louis after an especially big kiss, its because I’ve put all of me into it.

We watched Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close. I came away from it with a puddle on my shoulder and a hole in my heart. Like Oscar, I know exactly where I was when she passed. I can put an X on the exact point, just like the X it left in my chest. I wish I could have extended my 8 minutes.

This weekend was beautiful. We ate cupcakes and walked back home like we were drunk. We laughed until we cried. We actually went to sleep before 12 for the first time ever. I think one of my favorite things is skin-to-skin contact, and I don’t even mean in a sexual way. Just the way her fingers feel going over my shoulders and back and neck or the way her arms and legs feel under my own fingers.
